The scaling ladder · Stage 01

Research &
Prototype.

Sovereign production starts at one megawatt-hour — a real campaign, not a slide. A-grade cells from the first run, engineered to your chemistry and produced under German control.

Most foundries make you wait for volume to see quality. We invert it: A-grade cells from run one, at a batch size — a single megawatt-hour — that almost no one else will take.

Your chemistry, form factor and target spec

Qualified prototype cells and the process data behind them

What happens here

We prove the cell before you bet a program on it.

Research & Prototype is where a chemistry and a cell design stop being a hypothesis. We run small, real campaigns — from as little as 1 MWh — on production-representative lines, so what you learn is what you will actually build, not a lab artefact you have to re-derive later.

The output is not a data sheet. It is A-grade cells from the first run, your chemistry and form factor, plus the full process and quality record that lets your engineers make the next design decision with evidence instead of hope.

How you move up

The first rung of one ladder — no requalification later.

Everything here is built on the same modular platform that will one day run your series. That is the point: the line that produces your prototype is the line that produces your hundredth campaign, so there is no requalification cliff between proving the cell and fielding it.

You move up when the design is stable and A-grade output repeats — not on a calendar, on evidence.
